June Has Been in Heaven Since May 27, 2006

Easter Sunday

June and Ernie spent the day at the St. Agnes House. Their Easter dinner consisted of fine dinner prepared by Krogers. It may not sound like the best thing in the world, but that is just what they wanted. June’s sisters left Lexington Saturday and Shari returned home Sunday. Mom was so pleased that the girls had come up to help her settle in. So now mom and Ernie are adjusting to the things that will be required for her after care. Ernie has taken on some of the duties of a home health nurse. I asked them both if they would need help this week and they were both totally confident that help was not needed at this time. They assured me they would let me know if any thing changed. I know many of you are equally concerned about them, I guess we just have to wait for them to let us know when they want help. Once they return to Newnan I’m sure any help will be appreciated.

Jackie captured some moments on film of the day June left the hospital.

I know you told me today that the pictures John was going to post were terrible, but to me you look beautiful. (and Ernie as handsome as ever) Your voice sounded so strong. Keep that indomitable spirit!
I love you oodles & bunches.
